About Me

Hi, I'm Lea. I recently graduated with an honour's degree, a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Design which I studied at the University of Limerick.

Who Am I?

I am an aspiring graduate with big dreams. I can remember from a young age always wanting to work for myself and one day be able to help others by bringing them onboard to work alongside me and create a team of hard-working dedicated people. I was just never too sure what this business would be.

I have always been creative, from arts and crafts, drawing and painting as a child, to discovering make up and being creative in a new and different way. I then studied Digital Media Design in college which included audio and video recording/editing, mobile app design, graphic design, web design, user experience, digital marketing and product design. The broad range of skills I acquired throughout my degree left me unsure where to go next which brought me to my next step.

Where the brand came from ?

True Collective and Co. all began once I graduated in August 2022. Throughout the summer and autumn of 2022, I began the search for a job. Upon researching and analysing the potential job market, I soon realised that nothing I had come across was going to allow me to feel fulfilled as I had hoped. This led me to this new adventure, to start my own business, a goal I have always had in my mind.

True Collective and Co. is a virtual assistant service which was founded in order to provide a wide range of services to you and your business. Whether it’s admin support, a creative mind or social media support, I am here to offer my services and support to clients worldwide.

My Experience

Since 2013, I have acquired a varied range of skills including professional customer service, administrative skills which I can apply to any client I have the opportunity to work with.

From voluntary work as a conference admin assistant to volunteering at a youth service during transition year and working as an events assistant. I then began working as a part-time sales assistant while in school and working full time during the summers. I then took on a second job of working as a bar tender and worked my way up to a bar supervisor.
Working part time in digital media, updating and reformatting a website to reach company standards and the desired vision is another area I am familiar with. I also set up and programmed a till for a newly opened shop.
I also completed an 8-month placement in a customer service role with SAP during my third year in college where I worked as part of a team, providing customers with detailed solutions and also working on global projects, documenting processes and understanding operational procedures.
